Soya is our second priority crop, planted on more than 1,000 hectares alongside our maize programme. It serves the fast-growing animal feed, edible oil and plant protein markets across the region, and plays an important agronomic role by fixing nitrogen and improving soil fertility in rotation with cereals.
The regional protein deficit makes soya one of the most sought-after crops in East Africa. Feed manufacturers in Uganda and Kenya, oil processors and food producers all compete for reliable, quality supply, and our scale positions us as a dependable counterpart.
