Operations and Land

Where we farm, and where we are going

Active Today

Northern Uganda: our production base

Our operations are anchored in Northern Uganda, where thousands of hectares of fertile, arable land and a season highly favourable to cereal production support maize, sorghum, soya, sesame, chia, sunflower and rice.

We have secured large surfaces of land, more than 15,000 hectares in total, and began production on initial blocks of more than 50 hectares before scaling to our current programme: maize and soya on more than 1,000 hectares each, with product diversification planned for the seasons that follow.

  • More than 15,000 hectares secured on long-term arrangements
  • Immediate focus on five products: maize, rice, soya, sesame and chia seeds
  • Two growing seasons per year, allowing two harvests annually
  • Full post-harvest chain: cleaning, drying, storage and delivery

How We Farm

A mechanised programme from first plough to delivery

Every season follows a disciplined production cycle. Each stage is costed, scheduled and managed as part of a single programme.

1. Land Preparation

Land hire, cleaning, first and second ploughing, and harrowing prepare each block for precision planting.

2. Planting

Certified seed, mechanised planters, and managed fertiliser and spray applications establish the crop.

3. Crop Care

Two weeding cycles with managed chemical application keep the crop clean through the season.

4. Harvest and Handling

Combine harvesting, post-harvest handling, transport, cleaning and drying, storage and customer delivery.

The Roadmap

Three countries, one mission

Uganda: Active

Our production base, with more than 15,000 hectares secured and maize and soya in the ground at scale.

DR Congo: Next

Available land of 82 million square metres identified for development, in the region where our story began.

Central African Republic: Planned

Millions of hectares of arable land await pioneers. CAR forms the third pillar of our continental roadmap.
